Congratulations, Gillian, for achieving the rank of Nidan (2nd Degree) black belt!
Gillian has been a dedicated member of the club for the last 10 years and is always looking for ways to help others and make the club better. Since achieving her Shodan (1st Degree) black belt in 2015, she has continued training with the club and gaining experience in teaching new karate students and leading training classes when Robert is training with the Vulcan Tekka Karate Club.

Congratulations to our three new official yellow belts who successfully completed their first level grading on December 16th! Zack, Zack, and Trey, you guys did an awesome job – we could tell you’ve been working hard and training the house down. Well done!

We have closed down training sessions until the New Year, and will resume training on Monday, January 3, 2022 – same time, same place!

We are currently looking for a new place to train, as we are unable to train at Sheppard Family park. Effective Wednesday, October 20th 2021.
We will update this page as soon as we are able to find a new location for classes. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Thank you everyone who has been coming to training the past few weeks – it’s been so good to see you all again after so long, and everyone is getting back into the training habit again and improving!

Class will begin at 7:00PM and run until 8:00PM for Children
Class will be Monday and Thursday nights weekly
New and returning members are very welcome!
Monthly Fees will be $60 per person per month
Please remember:
We look forward to seeing everyone next week!
As everyone is now likely aware, we will not be able to continue in-person training for the next few weeks due to rising Covid-19 cases and Alberta Health Services restrictions on in-person group fitness classes.
We would normally shut down in the middle of December for the Christmas break anyway, so we are hoping that we will be able to start training again tentatively on Monday, JANUARY 4th, 2021.
Please check back regularly – this tentative start date depends on AHS restrictions.
Stay safe, and have a great holiday! Keep training and see you in the New Year!
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, and to protect the health of our club members, we are cancelling our Nov 23,2020 class to allow a 2 week re-set. Please note that the duration of the restrictions on in-person classes may be extended due to Provincial health requirements. We will be in contact with club members to update you on class schedules and when we will resume (tentatively Monday November 30th). Stay Safe and keep training!
